Website design

This is often the first contact a prospective pupil or parent will have with you helping to create an initial comparison with other schools or colleges. So how confident are you that your website is sending the right message? Is it clearly laid out? Does it meet your objectives?

Let's say you're an independent school looking to increase international boarders from India as an example. Have you considered translating your website into Hindi and Punjabi to really communicate your message to that audience? It's all about being specific.

As another example, have you thought about incorporating a social network within your existing website? This concept is still in its infancy and creates a greater belonging to a school or college community. It's not just somewhere a pupil attends during the day but available 24/7.
This gives great potential, enabling you to post information for your students whilst encouraging an alternative communication level for example.

If you're unsure about your own website or know that improvements could be made, get in touch with us. We will give you an honest opinion and some free ideas. We won't however recommend any changes for the sake of change.

Here's a thought. You may need a small website to get a presence on the internet or if you're already there and want to create more interactivity between your school and students, have you considered a forum?

Children of most ages nowadays use forums to chat to their school friends. Our suggestion is to bring it 'in-house' which could gain parent's approval, the children become even more involved with the school and managed correctly, creates some very positive PR.

We love working on bespoke projects and exhibiting provides a great opportunity to show both visitors and other exhibitors that your school is a venue worth serious consideration.

If you already have an exhibition stand, it might just need a few new panels on it to give that fresh look for the 2010 / 2011 marketing year.

Have you considered Bluetooth as another way of communicating information to your students. Its modern, quite new and would have a receptive audience.

Importantly, sending a Bluetooth message doesn't actually cost anything so could be financially worthwhile too. You could have a Bluetooth Zone in your reception area with changing messages anytime of the day, any day of the week. We can explain more if you're interested. Just get in touch..
