Case Study: Chase Terrace Technology College - School Prospectus, Sixth Form Prospectus and Pull Up Displays

Chase Terrace Technology College approached design bp after finding the Schools Media Marketing website through Google search. They required a prospectus in a very small amount of time. Design bp were able to design, organise photography and print the prospectus within the set deadline.

The main aim was to focus on the school and the pupils in a clear and concise way. Chase Terrace wanted to have photographs taken of their current students, so people have a real feel what the school was like from the prospectus. The bright colour schemed pages interest the reader while the photographs support the text. The uniform layout directs the reader to the information they require.

Design bp designed a second prospectus for the Sixth Form Centre. The prospectus encompasses some of the elements from the school prospectus so the two brochures can be associated with each other, but suited for an older audience and aimed more at the student than the parents. This prospectus is a folder with eight pages stitched into the front describing Chase Terrace. This allows inserts and relevant information to be added if necessary into the pocket at the back. A cover sheet has also been printed to encompass the style and add colour to the inserts. Chase Terrace also had two pull up banners to accompany the school prospectus and prospectus for the Sixth Form Centre. Chase Terrace are very happy with the designs we produced and plan to have brand new
up-to-date prospectuses next year.
Case Study: Windsor High School - Sixth Form - Creating a prospectus for the brand new Sixth Form Centre

Windsor High School is currently having a brand new Sixth Form Centre built next to the existing school. To complement the new school a prospectus has been designed and printed to give to prospective students.

The Sixth Form Centre prospectus is modern, funky and suited to the target audience. The montage on the front gives the viewer all the information they need including types of students, items relating to the subjects and the Windsor High School emblem. These are nicely arranged to catch the eye, and strong imagery has been used of students throughout the book. The grey colour scheme, striking monotone images and the red vibrant griffin help guide the reader throughout the prospectus. The images will attract the prospective students because they relate to their interests. Parents can see the Sixth Form is sophisticated and well equipped from the information given.

The finished prospectus looks very polished and eye-catching. The excellent quality high-gloss pages give a very good impression of the Sixth Form. Windsor High School are very pleased with the final design which is consistent throughout the prospectus.
Case Study: Elm School of English - Creating a website, branding and stationery for the new school

Elm School of English had a brand new logo and style. Elm is a school that specialises in teaching both English language and grammar to a wide range of students.

The name "Elm" led to the idea of including an elm tree leaf within the identity. This also shows growing development within the school and its students. The strong use of black with the vibrant green is attractiv and recognisable.

The new brand led to the development of a website, to inform the target audience. The site is aimed at individuals that want a tailor-made course in English language and literature, including both undergraduates and post-graduates. The look of the site is very fresh and open. This welcomes people into the site, and encourages them to find out more about the services Elm provides. The site is easily expandable if needed in the future.
Case Study: Highfields School - Banners and stationery for the school

Highfields School placed a request for a pull up banner to be displayed on a recent open evening. It portrays the ethos of the school in a clear and concise way. The school brand and colours are used to make people aware of the identity and make it recognisable in future literature and signage. The banner is still being used in the reception to portray the schools key features to visitors, staff and students.

Design bp have also produced letterheads for Highfields School, so the brand and identity is well known to recipients. The letterheads display the schools emblem and details.
Case Study: Kingswinford School - Creating a prospectus folder, inserts and A5 brochure

Design bp have produced prospectuses, stationary and other printed media for the Kingswinford School for the last few years. The Kingswinford School wanted a re-skin for the latest prospectus to update their image slightly.

The new design consists of a deep purple colour which relates to the Science School status and logo. This gives a luxurious look which is consistent throughout all parts of the prospectus. This consists of a folder to hold everything together, an A5 booklet and inserts. The images on the main folder attract people to read information about the facilities and extra curricular activities the school provides.

Design bp also produces all of the stationery for the Kingswinford School including letterheads and compliment slips. This ensures that everything bearing the identity is consistent and makes the brand highly recognisable.
Case Study: Signs Now Schools - School Catalogue

Signs Now required a new catalogue to showcase the products they are selling this year to schools. This was a large catalogue consisting of forty pages of full colour photographs showing the different types of signage available.

The catalogue lends itself to learning establishments by having little features here and there referring schools such as elements of stationery and square paper. The cover is very neat and stands out from standard white catalogues. All of the photos within the brochure are of jobs that Signs Now have produced for different schools. This shows their experience in the area as well as the professional signage produced by Signs Now.

Each page is clearly laid out with price tables to give an indication of the costs. There are also strong call to actions throughout the catalogue showing telephone numbers and contact methods. Many of the features are continued throughout the brochure such as CRB checked staff and extra features on the signs that come as standard.
